According to the record of the Bible, God gave such praise to no one but Job. This is admirable to us, and motivates us to be like Job, fearing God and shunning evil, and receiving God’s praise.
God says, “I often say that God looks within people’s hearts, and people look at people’s exteriors. Because God looks within people’s hearts, He understands their substance, whereas people define other people’s substance based on their exterior.
It is recorded in the Bible, “And he said, Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and get you into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will tell you of.
At the mention of “fearing God,” most Christians will think of the story of Job recorded in the Bible. Job feared God and shunned evil, stood witness for God in trials, and so obtained God’s praise and blessings.
What Job lived out during his lifetime and his remarkable triumph over Satan will forever be cherished by God, and his perfection, uprightness, and fear of God will be venerated and emulated by generations to come.
