We believers in God should view things according to God’s words. In the Bible, only the words of Jehovah, the words of the Lord Jesus, and the words of God conveyed by the prophets are God’s words.
Whatever work God does is according to His plan of managing mankind, not the Bible. The Bible cannot represent God. Consequently, the statement ‘everything beyond the Bible is a heresy’ is untenable.
In September of 2018, while scrolling through YouTube, I happened to watch a film called Where Is My Home. I found the words recited in this film to be gentle and yet full of authority.
The main character is a Christian who always believed what her pastor told her, thinking that God's words and work are all in the Bible and going beyond the Bible is heresy.
When we speak of the Bible, everyone knows it as the canon of Christianity. All Christians have a Bible, during our devotionals and at meetings we read the Bible, and we rely on it even more in missionary work and preaching. The Bible could be said to be an inseparable part of every Christian’s life.
Could he finally have a clear understanding of the relationship between the Bible and God? Could he come out of the Bible, realize Christ is the truth, the way and the life, and be raptured to God’s presence?
God says, "For many years, people’s traditional means of belief (that of Christianity, one of the world’s three major religions) has been to read the Bible; departure from the Bible is not the belief in the Lord, departure from the Bible is an evil cult, and heresy, and even when people read other books, the foundation of these books must be the explanation of the Bible.…"
