Will the name of Messiah change in the last days?
I went to our shop this morning and heard two employees discussing whether God’s name would change, however, there wasn't a final result. Teller said, “Exodus 3:15 says, ‘And God said moreover to Moses, Thus shall you say to the children of Israel, the L-RD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial to all generations’. This scripture tells us the name of L-RD wouldn't change forever, it would last for all generations”. Dive continued to say, “Let’s read Isaiah 62:2, it says, ‘And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory: and you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the L-RD shall name’. This verse prophecies that God would have a new name when He comes in the last days and the name is the one L-RD personally names. How do we understand these two different scriptures? Would exactly will God’s name change?” Watch Gospel Movie Extract 2 From "God's Name Has Changed?!": The Significance of God's Name
